Monitoring of the Peer Humanitarian Partner Mentoring Program ToGETHER 2.0
Yayasan SHEEP Indonesia conducted a Monitoring of the Peer Humanitarian Partner mentoring under the ToGETHER 2.0 Program on 3 to 6 February 2026 in Tawangmangu. Four out of five partner organizations participated as PHP of YSI. They were Perkumpulan Mitra Wacana Yogyakarta, Yayasan YAPHI Solo, Yayasan CAPPA Keadilan Ekologi Jambi, and Yayasan Jaga Balai Bandung.
Â

Â
This monitoring activity created a shared reflection space on the mentoring process that had taken place. Participants reviewed their understanding, assessed the application of the materials, and identified challenges and lessons learned from each PHP. This process ensured that the mentoring inputs and activities contributed to strengthening institutional capacity in disaster response.
Â

Â
The monitoring began with a review of the ToGETHER 2.0 Program, which reaffirmed its objective to strengthen the capacity of local organizations in disaster response. The session continued with a participatory monitoring process. Participants reflected on the mentoring inputs and processes related to the three themes implemented in 2025: visioning; Sphere and Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS); Rapid Assessment; Digital Data Collection; and Emergency Response Planning.
Â
In the following session, participants explored follow up actions within each PHP. They identified gaps and areas that require improvement in the future.
Â

Â
Based on the monitoring findings, each PHP and YSI agreed to follow up on the jointly developed recommendations. These recommendations focus on strengthening both the substance of the materials and the follow up processes that still require further work to achieve the mentoring objectives.
