Heri Sasmito Wibowo
Heri Sasmito Wibowo serves as a Technical Advisor for Local Food at Yayasan SHEEP Indonesia. He plays a key role in developing local food initiatives that focus on community-level self-reliance and sustainability.
Technical Advisor for Local Food
Heri has strong field experience in facilitating local food field schools. He has supported communities in Kupang and Sabu Raijua in East Nusa Tenggara, as well as in Mentawai, West Sumatra. Through this approach, he promotes locally grounded agricultural practices that are adaptive to climate change and aligned with the specific context of each area.
Currently, Heri focuses on strengthening resilient and self-reliant local food systems. He supports communities in managing food resources more effectively while enhancing food security amid climate change challenges.
Heri graduated from Satya Wacana Christian University with an academic background in agriculture.
